Husband, Father, and Lifelong Arkansan
Justin Meeks is a husband, a father, and a lifelong Arkansan. He grew up in a low-income, single-parent family in Saline County. He, his mother, and siblings shared a room at his grandparents’ house until he was in 5th grade. Today, Justin lives in Springdale with his wife – a public school teacher – and his two young children. Justin knows what it’s like to struggle from a young age, and he’s committed to making life better for his family and our community.
Justin began his work in public service as a Justice of the Peace when he was only 20 years old, making him one of the youngest elected officials in Arkansas history. After serving a term on the Quorum Court, Justin attended law school part-time while working full-time as a legal specialist in the juvenile justice system.
After law school, Justin served the people of Arkansas as an attorney for the Arkansas Department of Human Services. As a DHS attorney, he protected abused and neglected children, impaired adults, and the elderly. Today, Justin is a senior manager for data governance at one of the world’s largest companies with the goal of making the private sector more responsible when collecting and using personal data.
Justin knows firsthand the struggles facing families in our state, and how to fix them. As your State Representative, he’ll work to support our local schools, create an economy that works for all Arkansans, and make state government accountable to the people it serves.
